Office hours

One request I’ve had from subscribers for years is more access to help from me. In an AMA (Ask Me Anything) era, I recognize both the interest and the need, but have been cautious about how much of me is realistic to offer outside of workshops, speaking, and coaching.

Now I’ve figured out a way to do it. I’m calling it Office Hours.

This is how Office Hours works:

  • Paid subscribers (members) can now email me anytime with a question, situation you’re facing, or even a desire for me to go deeper into something I’ve written about. It can be an AMA-type question or a situation that you’d like a fresh set of eyes on.

  • I’ll select questions and/or situations and respond via newsletter posts that will be available only to members. I will not share names or identifying details.

  • For situations, I won’t be telling you what to do. Instead, I’ll share my observations and insights from 30 years of conflict resolution work: I’ll show you how I approach similar things. I might offer a framework for thinking about it or questions that I like to ask in similar situations. I might share what the research suggests, or point you to a good read or video.

How often will I post my responses to Office Hours requests? I don’t know yet; it depends on volume. I won’t be able to provide private responses, and I anticipate I’ll choose questions and situations that I think will be the most useful to others. If yours doesn’t show up right away, it may find its way into a post down the road.

Here’s how to submit your Office Hours request:
